Make Me A Vessel

This morning this chorus resonated with me:

Make Me Your Vessel

Make me an offering

Make me whatever You want me to be

I came here with nothing

But all You have given me

Jesus, bring new wine out of me.

It is difficult to focus on living a surrendered life most days, but we must purpose to make every effort to do so.  The words of this song serve as a reminder of the frailty of my humanity without Him.  Although I would like to believe that I have the ability to guide my own path successfully solely on what I think is best for me, that is not the case.

~ Proverbs 14:12 NIV ~

There is a way that seems right to a man,
But its end is the way of death.

No matter what we think we can do or are doing on our own, we soon learn that we have very little say in what our future actually holds or it’s success…..but there is peace when we can rest in the assurance that our Father knows and holds our future.

Have you experienced twists and turns you did not foresee?

~ Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV ~

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths.

Today is Monday.  As you embark on this new week, purpose to focus on living surrendered to Christ. Ask Him what He would have you walk out this week and enjoy the walk as He walks with you.

Blessings,

Rashena
