Whoever Has Ears, Let Them Hear

Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

~ Revelation 2:29 ~

The book of Revelation has not been my preferred book of the bible when reading or during study time. I know quite a few people who share the same sentiment where the book of Revelation is concerned. It is considered mostly dark because you know...judgements....and difficult to understand.

But I am drawn this morning to the words of Revelation 2:29.

~"Whoever has ears, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."~

I feel there is significance in my hearing this out of the blue today. In the context of the first couple of chapters of the book of Revelation, the focus is on the churches.

I do believe there is great significance in the addressing of the churches being Revelation's opening focus, therefore it is extremely important that we take heed and listen intently.

Quite frequently I've been reminded of James 1:19 and in a post on my social media page some time ago, was given the following by Holy Spirit.....

Listen. Holy Spirit is leading and giving instruction. If we think He is speaking in a way that approves of the churches as is, we will be highly disappointed when Jesus returns.

A structure built on a corrupt foundation is destined for destruction. A foundational revamp is what God has called for in this season and everything that could be shaken has been shaken.

It will continue to be shaken until His word has been restored back to its original intent.

Listen…..be faithful to heed the prompts and divine leading of Holy Spirit, and know His voice..He is speaking clearly.
