Embrace The New

Change will come. How you embrace it, will determine your evolution through it.

Seasons and change. WHEW! What concepts! They are some of the things we fight against most but are necessary in order to thrive and grow.

Every living thing was created to go through a process to reach maturity, and we are definitely not exempt.

I don't know about you, but It seems that when I would become comfortable in one spot I would be given new marching orders. Most times I would cross my arms, pout and stand in the proverbial corner in defiance. Sounds familiar? It took me some time to realize that defiance would not stop change from occurring but instead would magnify its intensity and turbulence. To accept change means we agree to give up our control to the Father and trust that he has our best interests in mind.

No matter how much we detest it, changes in seasons are necessary and designed to lead us into the processes that will develop us for destiny.

For EVERYTHING there is a time and season.

Ecclesiastes 3:1‭-‬8 AMP

There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heaven— A time to be born and a time to die; A time to plant and a time to uproot what is planted. A time to kill and a time to heal; A time to tear down and a time to build up. A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to throw away stones and a time to gather stones; A time to embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to search and a time to give up as lost; A time to keep and a time to throw away. A time to tear apart and a time to sew together; A time to keep silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate; A time for war and a time for peace.

We must learn to embrace each new season of change we are allowed to walk through with purpose and not in defeat or with fear. It will not always, be easy, painless, stressless, or tearless, but it will develop you into who you were meant to be from the very beginning.

Blessings,

Rashena
