Adoption By A Limitless Father

We were created for more than where we choose to confine ourselves.

God is wise in heart and mighty in strength. ~Job 9:4~

God's goodness and power is limitless.

Every day we set boundaries for ourselves. We make schedules, have routines, make to-do lists, structure our work day, etc. Limits are where we are comfortable, where we are safe. We've become accustomed to living our lives ruled by limited acts so that we can maintain a semblance of normalcy.

Friends can I share something with you? We were created for more than where we choose to confine ourselves.

God predestined for us adoption so that we could become his sons and daughters.

For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love he predestined us for adoption to sonship through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will— to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.

When we make the choice to chose Him as our father, we receive all of the benefits of being a part of his family. His limitlessness overshadows our limits, His goodness reigns, and His strength is mightier than our strength.

Be encouraged this morning as you begin your day. Walk in your sonship/daughtership today knowing that you are not confined to the limits you've placed on your life, but that you have been adopted by a limitless Father.

Let his limitless purpose for your life be what you desire.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
