If I Perish, I Perish.

Hadassah also known as Esther, is the very first book of the bible I fell in love with at five years old.

Esther was described as beautiful, gracious, and favored by the king, but the thing that intrigued me the most was her determination.

Yep, 5 year old me was more drawn to Esther's unwavering stance for her people than her queenship and beauty.

Her bravery and ability to stand up for what was right regardless of the consequences was exactly what was needed to completely destroy and reverse the plan of her enemies. I identified with her in that I knew at some point as a follower of Christ, I would be called to do the same.

Esther 4:16 AMP

“Go, gather all the Jews that are present in Susa, and observe a fast for me; do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my maids also will fast in the same way. Then I will go in to [see] the king [without being summoned], which is against the law; and if I perish, I perish.”

She was prepared to give her LIFE!

FIRST she, her maids, and the jews fasted. When they had completed their fast, THEN she moved. There is something about being in agreement and right alignment with your ordained purpose that will ALWAYS lead you to victory!

I am encouraged in this season and want to encourage you as well! STAND!

EPHESIANS 6:12-13 NIV

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.

We are being called to exhibit blind trust in the God who knew the end from the beginning and stand with no fear! It's time to dust off the weapons that we have been equipped with and use them determined to win.

Stand, stand, stand, and when you grow tired....STAND.

Blessings,

Rashena
