Seek and Find

I can remember as a child being taught scripture using the letters of the alphabet. My parents utilized every letter in order to get the word im our spirits so we would never forget.

Today I was reminded of our "S" scripture. This being a teaching moment for little minds, my parents thought it important to put more emphasis was on seeking rather than but. I can assure you that they made sure we understood this scripture in context later when our little minds could handle it.

The scripture is:

~ Matthew 6:33 (KJV) ~

But Seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things shall be added unto you.

So many times we try on our own to acquire things, accomplish things, build relationships, clarify things, when we simply just need to go hard after God. Because he is our Father, loves us and wants the best for us, he GIVES us what we need!

He adds TO us...meaning he gives us more and more and more and more...you see where I'm headed with this?

Seek him amd his righteousness FIRST then he will GIVE YOU what you need.
SEEK him and he will add to you.
