Specks of Beauty

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor.

There are specks of beauty to be seen in every season.

Regardless of the season of your life you are currently in, there is a crown of beauty for you instead of ashes, the oil of joy for morning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair.

Be encouraged!

Make the choice today to recognize the beauty that is Christ and all that He adds to your life.

Meditate on, and cultivate those moments until they become glaring bright spots that overshadow uncomfortable seasons.

Then praise Him whole-heartedly for the goodness and beauty that He is!
