The Sin That Love Corrected

I want to share with you something I wrote a couple months ago. I pray it encourages you on this Monday.

This morning Holy Spirit woke me up with this:

"THE SIN THAT LOVE CORRECTED"

Holy Spirit always gives me things to have me dig!

Me: Ok, what does that mean?

Holy Spirit: Look it up

Me: Ok *looks up the definition of sin*... an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law

*looks up the definition of corrected*
Holy Spirit: now put it together.
Me: Ok

The immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law (sin)  that love put right (corrected)..

When man fell we were doomed to live life as slaves to sin....BUT because of the reckless, unconditional, matchless love of God..... who sent His ONLY son to redeem us..... we are able to life free of sin and shame.

Let us not forget why we celebrate Christmas! God loved us so much that sent his Son to "put us right"!!

I John 4:10 (NLT)
This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.
