What's In You??

When he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” Simon answered, “Master, we’ve worked hard all night and haven’t caught anything. But because you say so, I will let down the nets.” When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break. So they signaled their partners in the other boat to come and help them, and they came and filled both boats so full that they began to sink. ~ Luke 5:4‭-‬7 NIV ~

This right here has blessed my little sparkly soul this morning! Simon felt like he had done all he knew how to do and was getting NOWHERE. NOTHING was happening...no fish...no matter how hard he tried. He even vocalized his failure to Jesus.

BUT...the key to his manifestation was in Simon's response. In the same breath he stated the failure of the previous night he said to Jesus, “Because you said so, I will let down the nets" (NIV). When he did this, they caught so many fish that the nets and boat could not contain them.

Just think had he not obeyed, what would have happened?

Well for one, Simon would not have seen the manifestation of what Jesus had for them that day.

The only way you find out what's IN you is by how much is put ON you...

God wants to stretch us to go beyond what we see. There are things He has deposited in us that guarantees victory over situations/circumstances we face but until we face them head on, we never know what's in us!

Hold on and listen through the difficult times...He's perfecting you!
